Social Media Intern
Location: Lisbon, Porto, or Leiria, or Remote

You're not just scrolling through feeds, but you're interested in learning and testing new ideas and formats across various social media channels. You analyze metrics to understand audience behavior and you believe in the power of data to drive social media strategies. You understand the importance of community engagement and building meaningful connections with followers. You have good communication skills, you are positive and energetic. You're creative, innovative, and up-to-date with social media trends and algorithms. You want to learn and grow in an environment that will give you room and freedom to try new things independently. You do what needs to be done and try to get the best out of every situation -- you know it takes hard work, dedication, and persistence to reach your goals.
Job description - what you will get to do:
  • Assist in building a social media strategy;
  • Plan and create a social media calendar, ensuring consistency across various channels;
  • Create timely relevant content to stay on top of the trends and create brand awareness;
  • Analyse results, extracting insights to enhance performance and optimize social media strategies;
  • Schedule content across the different social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc);
  • Record and edit videos for social media (Reels, Tiktok);
  • Interact with the community on different social media channels to drive engagement;
  • Stay on top of marketing trends, tools, and technologies and identify new opportunities;
  • Drive user acquisition and engagement while increasing brand affinity.

Main requirements - you should:
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for creating engaging content;
  • Ability to develop creative and innovative social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement;
  • Ability to analyse social media metrics and data to evaluate performance, discover insights, and make recommendations for improvement;
  • Ability to work autonomously and set best practices;
  • Willingness to learn and develop yourself with the support of the team and not afraid to experience new things;
  • Have an analytical mind, using data to improve actions and future strategies;
  • Problem-solving skills, business judgment, strategic and analytical capabilities;
  • Technically savvy and intellectually curious about new technologies and how they work;
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Other languages are a plus;
  • Team-work skills and experience to bring together diverse views and communicate/collaborate effectively;
  • Willingness to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment and disposition to take on multiple responsibilities and deadlines where prioritization is key
  • Passionate about the three social S’s: social entrepreneurship, social innovation, and social impact;
  • Have a good sense of humor - and we are not even joking.

What else do you need to know?
  • This is an internship position;
  • You will report to our Full Stack Marketer;
  • Minimum duration of the internship  - 6 months. 
  • This is a volunteer/curricular internship, if you are eligible you can ask for Erasmus internship.
  • You must be available to work at least 20 hours a week  (40 hours preferred);
