We discuss ideas, share thoughts about Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Culture, Empathy....and everything that can bring a more fair world.
This upcoming theme is #Literature
These days we get books thrown at us left and right.
That can make it very difficult to find a book that matters, or that suits you.
This is why we at SPEAK Utrecht decided we should make use of the amazing group of people that have joined us over the years.
So many voices, so many opinions.
We hope that this opportunity will allow people to experience new worlds and perspectives, while also sharing their own!
But how does it work?
Very simple, we gather once a month (maybe more if the book is small 😉) and then we talk about the book we chose, how we felt, what we think, what we can take away from this, and maybe even our personal experience with a topic related.
For this event we will be discussing the following book:
Prisoners of geography, by Tim Marshall
We try to have a diverse collection, and to make it accessible we will provide a digital version for you. Of course, it can be different when we get to meet physically again!
And if reading is something you struggle with, no worries, it is not about being perfect. It is about sharing.
